The incident occurred last month when the victim was robbed of everything in his pockets, including his car keys and smartphone. The twist in the tale? The thieves, after examining their loot, decided they wanted nothing to do with the Android device.
The wife recounted the story, mentioning that the armed robbers, initially eager to snatch everything, had a change of heart when they laid eyes on the Android phone. “They basically looked at that phone and were like, ‘Oh, that’s an Android? We don’t want this. I thought it was an iPhone,‘” she shared.
However, despite her husband retrieving his phone, the woman expressed that the incident “upended her life.”
